Joel Eriksson (born September 16, 1984 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish speed skater .

He made his debut in the World Cup in November of the 2006/07 season in Berlin . At the team run season finale in Erfurt , he won silver with Johan Röjler and Daniel Friberg . In the overall World Cup, they achieved 5th place for Sweden .

In the 2007/08 season , Eriksson made it to the A group over 5000/10000 meters. With 18th place over 5000 meters, he ran his best result to date in Calgary . However, he could not stay in the A group and has since run in the top 10 in the B group over the sprints and long distances.

At the individual distance World Championships in Richmond , Canada , Eriksson was able to bring in the first medal for Sweden in the team run. With an outstanding team performance, the trio Eriksson, Röjler and Friberg won silver behind the Dutch .
