Johan Röjler (born November 11, 1981 in Örebro ) is a Swedish speed skater .

Johan Röjler was junior world champion in 2000 in Seinäjoki in the small four-way battle, after he was twelfth and sixth in the two years before. In 2001 he was fourth again. In the World Cup he made his debut in November 1999 in Inzell , where he was 17th in the B group over 5000 meters. Four years later he came in tenth over 10,000 meters in Erfurt for the first time in the top ten. In December 2005 he achieved his best position in a World Cup individual race in sixth place on this track in Heerenveen . Only in the team he was able to place better in February 2007 in Erfurt together with Daniel Friberg and Joel Eriksson with second place. The best place in the overall World Cup was a tenth place over 5000 / 10,000 meters in the 2005/06 season.

Apart from 2006, the endurance specialist has competed in world championships every year since 2001. He achieved his best results in 2007 in Salt Lake City , where he finished sixth with the team and over 10,000 meters. He also reached sixth place at the European Championships in the Grand Four Fighting 2006 in Hamar . Röjler took part in the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City in 2002 and in Turin in 2006 . In the USA he started over 1500 (38th) and 5000 meters (22nd), in Turin over 1500 (33rd), 5000 (12th) and 10,000 meters (10th). The Swede has won national championship titles ten times and has been on the podium seven more times.

Röjler is an athlete ambassador for the development aid organization Right to Play .
