Joël Rüegger (born January 11, 1995 ) is a Swiss floorball player . He is under contract with the National League A representative Grasshopper Club Zurich .
Career
society
Grasshopper Club Zurich
Rüegger began his career at the Grasshopper Club Zurich . In 2011 he was first used in a first-team game. He spent the rest of the 2011/12 season in the Grasshoppers U21 team. In 2012 he was then integrated into the first team squad. In 2014 he won the Swiss Cup. In 2016 he was again in the Cup final with the Grasshoppers, but the team could not win this time. In the 2015/16 season he became Swiss champions for the first time with the Grasshoppers. On February 25, 2017, he was also able to win the Swiss Cup with GC. On February 24, 2018 he was again in the final of the Swiss Cup, but the team failed at SV Wiler-Ersigen .
National team
In 2015 he made his debut on the Euro Floorball Tour for the Swiss national floorball team. He failed to score in three games at this tournament. In the 11: 3 victory over Germany, he scored his first goal in a competitive game of the Swiss national floorball team .
