The Joerg Plateau is a plateau in the scattered towering peaks on the Orville coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It borders the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf .
Participants of the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948) under the direction of the US polar explorer Finn Ronne named them. It is named after the American cartographer and geographer WLG Joerg (1885–1952).
