Johan Edin (born February 9, 1987 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish cross-country skier . He mainly starts in the sprint discipline.

Career

Edin has mainly participated in the Scandinavian Cup since 2006 . He achieved his best placement in Jõulumäe in February 2013 with third place in the sprint. He ran his first World Cup race in March 2006 in Borlänge , which he finished with 53rd place in the sprint. In December 2008 he got his first World Cup points with the 26th place in the sprint in Düsseldorf . His best place in a World Cup race to date was achieved in December 2012 in Québec , which he finished in eighth place in the sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun , he finished 43rd in the sprint.
