Johan Peter Lefstad (* 1870 , † 1948 ) was a Norwegian figure skater who started in a single run .

The seven-time Norwegian champion in figure skating (1894-1897, 1899-1900, 1904) won the bronze medal behind Gustav Hügel and Ulrich Salchow at the World Championships in Stockholm in 1897 . To this day he is the only Norwegian who has won a medal in the men's individual competition at the World Championships . A year later he was runner- up in Trondheim, behind Salchow.

Lefstad's father owned a workshop in Bakklandet, Trondheim . This gave Lefstad access to the tools needed to make ice skates. In 1892 he founded his own company and, in addition to repairing and selling bicycles, was also involved in the manufacture of ice skates. Later he specialized in the manufacture of bicycles.
