Johan Fredrik Silén (born June 19, 1869 in Helsinki ; † October 3, 1949 there ) was a Finnish sailor .
successes
Johan Silén, the member Nyländska Jaktklubben was won in 1912 in Stockholm at the Olympic Games in the 12-meter class bronze medal. He was a crew member of the Heatherbell , which finished third in both races of the regatta and thus ended the competition behind the only two competitors, the Norwegian boat Magda IX from skipper Johan Anker and the Swedish boat Erna Signe from skipper Nils Persson . The Heatherbell crew also included Erik Hartvall , Jarl Hulldén , Sigurd Juslén , Eino Sandelin and Max Alfthan . The skipper was Ernst Krogius .
