Johann Adrian Hermann von Hoverden

Johann Adrian Hermann Graf von Hoverden (born August 12, 1819 in Heyden, † August 30, 1900 in Hünern , district of Ohlau ) was a German antiquarian and politician .

Life

Hoverden was born as the eldest of three children of the Prussian judicial council and member of the manor Johann Adrian Eduard Graf von Hoverden (who published under the pseudonym Eduard Plenken) and his wife Henriette Freiin von Falkenhausen. He studied in Breslau, where he became a member of the Corps Silesia between the summer of 1838 and the end of 1841 . In 1848 he married Aglaja Countess von Strachwitz . Hoverden was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives. As a member of parliament, he represented the constituency of Opole 4 (Tost - Gleiwitz), initially belonged to the conservative faction and in 1873 joined the faction of the Center Party .
