Johann Ammon (sculptor)
Johann Ammon (born June 16, 1657 in Ansbach , † after 1741) was a German sculptor, plasterer, stonemason and master builder.
Ammon was active in Ansbach, Bamberg, Darmstadt and Nuremberg between 1672 and 1741 and was in the service of the Bishop of Eichstätt . On July 28, 1696, the Margrave of Ansbach, Georg Friedrich , brought him to his court.
