Johann August Corvinus (* 1683 in Leipzig , † 1738 in Augsburg ) was an engraver and etcher in Augsburg.

He was the tutor of Salomon Kleiner . Works by Corvinus (including vedutas based on drawings by Salomon Kleiner) were mainly edited by the Augsburg art publisher Jeremias Wolff, e. B. decorative siege scenes from the War of the Spanish Succession in the one with Paul Decker the Elder. Ä. published work Representation belli, ob successionem in Regno Hispanico (around 1715), or in the Magnifica Pulchritudine et validissimis Munitionibus per orbem celeberrima Ducalis et Episcopalis Residentia Wurzburgum seu Herbipolis in Franconia, published by Johann Andreas Pfeffel in Augsburg in 1740 .
