Johann August Kaupert
Johann August Kaupert (born May 9, 1822 in Kassel , † February 11, 1899 in Berlin ) was a German cartographer . In 1889 he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Strasbourg . He was a secret war council.
Kaupert was significantly involved in the creation of maps for the German Empire during the imperial era.
