Johann Baptist Anwander
Johann Baptist Anwander (* around 1750 in Landsberg am Lech ; † around 1800 in Augsburg ) was an artist and Rococo painter. He was the nephew of the more famous Rococo painter Johann Anwander .

- Painting The lovesick Antiochus - The picture tells the story of the sick king's son Antiochus. His doctor Erasistratos (or Demetrios ) sees the cause of the disease in the desperate and unfulfilled love of the prince for his stepmother Stratonike . In order to save his son, Antiochus' father then releases his wife.
