Location of Haunswies in Affing

Haunswies is a district of the municipality of Affing in the district of Aichach-Friedberg , which belongs to the Wittelsbacher Land in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria . The district is located in the Affinger basin on the Affinger Bach .

history

Haunswies is first mentioned in a document in the first half of the 12th century. A landlord becomes a monk at St. Ulrich and Afra and makes a gift to the monastery (including a pond in Haunswies). Probably in the 11th century the place and the people of "Humos Wiese" belonged to the Count Palatine von Scheyern - Wittelsbach . In 1720 the Commander of the German House of Blumenthal bought the Haunswies knight's fief.

On July 1, 1972, Haunswies was incorporated into Affing.
