Location of Anwalting in Affing

Anwalting is a district of the municipality of Affing in the district of Aichach-Friedberg , which belongs to the Wittelsbacher Land in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .

geography

Anwalting has around 460 inhabitants and is located on the Lechleite between Mühlhausen and Rehling about three kilometers north of the Augsburg airport . The village of Anwalting is located on the Friedberger Ach and Affinger Bach , which merge northwest of Anwalting.

history

A document for the year 935 attests that the church was handed over to the Ebersberg monastery . From the 13th century, the collegiate monastery St. Andrä in Freising had real estate in lawyers and gained the manorial rule in the following period .

On May 1, 1978, Anwalting was incorporated into the Affing community.
