Frechholzhausen is a district of the municipality of Affing in the district of Aichach-Friedberg , which belongs to the Wittelsbacher Land in the administrative district of Swabia in Bavaria .
geography
Frechholzhausen is on the connecting road between Affing and Derching. This road, also known as the highway , was developed as a feeder for an ammunition depot near Frechholzhausen during the Cold War .
history
Frechholzhausen has around 100 inhabitants and is located between Affing and Derching . The settlement of Frechholzhausen (to the houses of a Frechholt) was first mentioned in 1269 and 1271. In the 14th and 15th centuries, the cathedral chapter and bishopric of Augsburg received taxes from property there. Presumably most of it came under the Friedberg court. The Catholic village chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary dates from 1828. There is a path chapel north and south of Frechholzhausen.
