Johann Baptist Wenck

Johann Baptist Wenck , also Johann Baptista von Wenckh, (* unknown date, in Volkach ; † 1727 in unknown place) was an Austrian doctor from Styria and a member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Johann Baptista von Wenckh was Leibmedicus of the free estates in Styria and Physicus in Graz .

On June 24, 1697, Johann Baptista von Wenckh, nicknamed Lycus, was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 227 ) of the Sacri Romani Imperii Academia Caesareo-Leopoldina Naturae Curiosorum .

Johann Baptist was the grandfather of the future barons and counts of Wenckheim.
