Johann Christian Bockshammer

Johann Christian Bockshammer (born May 27, 1733 in Teschen , † November 13, 1804 in Festenberg ) was a Protestant pastor, writer, translator and editor.

Johann Christian Bockshammer was the son of a teacher in the Teschen school. From 1752 he studied theology at the Jena University .

From 1757 he worked as a Protestant court preacher in Goschütz . From 1764 he was also employed as a pastor in Festenberg , where he devoted himself to German-Polish and Polish-German translations.
