Johann Christian Friedrich Keferstein (March 4, 1752 ; † 1805 ) was a German specialist author and Prussian master builder in Brandenburg .

Johann Christian Friedrich Keferstein was the first son of 17 children of Georg Christoph Keferstein (* 1723) and his wife Christiane Henriette, the daughter of Pastor Jacobi from Veckenstedt . He was married to the daughter Luise Sophie Henriette of the Councilor and City and Justice Director of Brandenburg's flat share Schlütte / Schlitte since 1777 and had eight children with her.

Life

In 1776 Keferstein began studying law in Halle an der Saale .

In 1779 he became a royal master builder and mathematics teacher at the Knight Academy in Brandenburg. In Reckahn a school was built according to his plans. From 1787 to 1790 the Rietz village church was built according to his plans. From 1788 to 1791 a new village school was built in Caputh according to his designs. The predecessor of today's Saarmund Church , which burned down in 1840 , was built in half-timbered construction in 1792–1794 according to Keferstein's plans.
