badges and flags

The coat of arms was approved by the district on May 7, 2009.

Blazon : "In gold, three green linden leaves that sprout upwards and to the sides from the knot of a black rope hanging down at both ends."

The colors of the former municipality are - based on the tinging of the coat of arms - green-yellow.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg municipal heraldist Jörg Mantzsch . Its symbolism refers to the former court linden tree , which is why a rope ( gallows rope ) is connected to the three linden leaves.

The flag is green-yellow (1: 1) striped (horizontal shape: stripes running horizontally, lengthways shape: stripes running vertically) and has the coat of arms in the center.
