Computer-aided mapping

Today the parish register mapping is done with the computer. Numerous genealogy programs are available for family-wise mapping . In addition to the use of a mapping program, there is also the option of using database-oriented programs (e.g. spreadsheets ) for the parish register. In addition to the problem of choosing a method, there is now also the problem of choosing a program. The Verein für Computergenealogie tries to provide help on this in its wiki.
