Johann Christoph Lorenz Aecker (* before 1828, † after 1838) from Seußen in Northern Bavaria was a German entrepreneur in the porcelain industry .

Life

In 1828 Johann Christoph Lorenz Aecker, owner of a brick and lime kiln in Hohenberg an der Eger , married the merchant's daughter Elisabeth Margarethe Wölfel.

As the son of the porcelain factory Christian Paul lands he ran in 1828 in Hohenberg a porcelain painting and founded in 1839 with the lands porcelain and earthenware factory , the world-famous later porcelain industry of the city Arzberg (Bavaria) .

After various changes of ownership between 1844 and 1884 ( Aecker, Strebel, Bauer factory ), most recently by Karl Auvera , a grandson of his once greatest competitor Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther , the factory was finally taken over in 1919 by CM Hutschenreuther AG based in Hohenberg .
