Johann Conrad Rappius

Johann Conrad Rappius (born August 28, 1658 in Öhringen , † 1693 in Neuenstein ) was a German doctor , city doctor in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and member of the academy of scholars " Leopoldina ".

Life

Johann Conrad Rappius, also Johann Conrad Rapp, was a medical respondent to Friedrich Christian Winckler at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . He then became a general practitioner in Öhringen and in the Hohenlohe district. He then became a general practitioner in Künzelsau and finally a physician in Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

In June 1684 Johann Conrad Rappius with the nickname SERAPIO II. Was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 122 ) in the Leopoldina .
