Johann Daniel Karl Bickel
Johann Daniel Karl Bickel (born June 24, 1737 in Altweilnau , † June 28, 1809 in Usingen ) was a German hymn poet .
Life
Johann Daniel Karl Bickel worked as court preacher in Biebrich and also as consistorial councilor and superintendent in Usingen. He was friends with Johann Samuel Diterich and gained fame through the publication of the Nassau-Usingische Gesangbuch in 1779, to which he had contributed two songs.
