Johann Dirmeier

Johann Dirmeier (born December 6, 1852 in Schildorn , Upper Austria ; † January 9, 1936 there ) was an Austrian farmer and Christian social politician .

Life

The farmer's son married in 1877 and ran the chaffinch estate in Schildorn. He was municipal secretary for 22 years and mayor between 1893 and 1905 . The Schildorn community made him an honorary citizen. In his private life he was engaged in painting and carving and also had a good knowledge of basic measurements.

Act

Between 1902 and 1919 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag for the Christian Social Party , and from 1913 to 1918 also a member of the Provincial Committee ; 1918/1919 he was a member of the provisional provincial assembly of Upper Austria .
