Johann Eck (politician)

Johann Eck (born October 24, 1832 in Hopferstadt ; †  June 5, 1920 there ) was a farmer, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Eck attended the local school in Hopferstadt and became a farmer. For many years he was mayor of Hopferstadt and a member of the Ochsenfurt district committee.

From 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the Reichstag for the constituency of Lower Franconia  2 ( Kitzingen , Gerolzhofen , Ochsenfurt , Volkach ) and the German Center Party .

There is a Johann-Eck-Straße in Hopferstadt.
