Johann Elias Kirch

Johann Elias Kirch (born October 21, 1706 in Schweinfurt ; † February 21, 1748 ) was a German physician and physicist in Schweinfurt.

Life

Johann Elias Kirch studied medicine with Georg Daniel Coschwitz at the University of Halle and worked after his doctorate as a physicist and later as a council assessor in Schweinfurt.

On November 26, 1739 he was given the academic surname Archigenes II. Under the matriculation no. In 494 elected a member of the Leopoldina .
