Johann Ernst Falke

Johann Ernst Ludwig Falke (born April 20, 1805 in Rudolstadt , † September 24, 1880 in Jena ) was a German veterinarian .

Life

Johann Ernst Ludwig Falke studied in Dresden and Berlin from 1824 to 1827 , became a veterinarian in Rudolstadt in 1827, went to the veterinary institute in Dresden as a teacher in 1829 , but returned to Rudolstadt in 1832 and became a state veterinarian in 1840. In 1847 he went as a teacher of veterinary medicine and head of the Grand Duke. Saxon veterinary institute to Jena and became a veterinary physician in 1850.

In 1861 he was awarded the Cothenius Medal of the Leopoldina .
