Johann Friedrich von Klemm

Johann Friedrich Klemm , from 1846 by Klemm , (born November 14, 1793 in Brenz ( Oberamt Heidenheim ), † April 16, 1858 in Esslingen am Neckar ) was a German politician and senior bailiff.

life and work

Johann Friedrich Klemm learned to write from his father, Christoph Heinrich von Klemm, who was a staff officer and later court chamber administrator. He was then employed as a clerk in various city and official chancelleries. From 1813 to 1816 he was a city substitute and actuary at the Neckarsulm District Court . In 1814 he passed the substitute examination. In 1816 and 1817 he worked for the civil actuarial office of the Stuttgart city administration. During this time he attended lectures by Hofrat Hasler in order to gain further training in German private law. In 1818 he passed the administrative service examination. From 1820 to 1822 he worked as an official actuary and auditor at the Stuttgart city office. In June 1822 he became a senior bailiff at the Tettnang District Office . From November 1835 he was senior bailiff at the Ellwangen District Office , and from October 1845 until his death, finally Senior Bailiff at the Esslingen District Office .

politics

In 1844 he was elected to the Württemberg state parliament for the constituency of Tettnang and held this mandate until 1848.

Honors

In 1846 Johann Friedrich Klemm was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown , which was associated with the personal title of nobility ( ennoblement ). The city of Tettnang honored him with the award of honorary citizenship in 1835.
