Johann Geletzki
Johann Geletzki (* unknown; † December 28, 1568 in Grödlitz ; also Johann Geletzky , Jan Jelecki ) was a German hymn poet .
Life / work
Johann Geletzki, whose year of birth is not known, first lived in Fulnek , where he was a preacher , and later in Grödlitz. He himself described himself as a "servant of the holy Gospel".
Together with Michael Tham and Petrus Herbert , he edited a hymn book of the Bohemian Brothers . This was printed in Prague in 1566 . He has also contributed several songs himself.
