Johann Georg Fux

Johann Georg Fux (* after January 27, 1651 in Tölz ; † January 29, 1738 in Donauwörth ) was a German organ builder .

Life

Fux was born in Tölz in 1651. He learned organ building from Johann König .

He only worked in southern Germany . His most famous work is the largely preserved organ of the Fürstenfeld monastery .
