Johann Georg Sarasin

Johann Georg Sarasin (born March 13, 1762 in Frankfurt am Main ; † February 13, 1847 ) was a German businessman and politician.

Sarasin was a trader and banker in Frankfurt.

From 1816 to 1831 he was a senator and from 1831 to 1847 a lay judge in the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt . In 1825 and 1828 he was the junior mayor. From 1817 to 1827 he was a member of the select council. He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1817 to 1824, 1826 to 1827 and 1829 to 1845 .
