Johann Georg Schleenstein
Johann Georg Schleenstein (born 1650 in Erfurt ; died March 29, 1729 ) was a German colonel, inventor, fortress architect and cartographer.
In the years 1705 to 1710 he made the state survey of the Landgraviate of Hesse-Kassel (Schleensteinsche Landesaufnahme).
His son was the artillery captain Johann Philipp Schleenstein in Hessen-Kassel.
