from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johann Glocker (also Johann Glockner ; * before 1620; † after 1646) was a Württemberg painter who was documented in Stuttgart and Schwäbisch Hall in the years 1637–1646 .

No details of his life are known, but several excellent portrait miniatures have survived. His signed and partly dated portrait miniatures are in the Württembergisches Landesmuseum Stuttgart and in the town hall of Schwäbisch Hall (see councilor portraits ).
