Johann Groh (also: Ghro, Gro, Groe, Grohe, Gron, Gross ) (* around 1575 in Dresden (?); † 1627 (?) In Weesenstein (?)) Was a German organist and composer .

He probably received his training at the Princely School of St. Afra in Meißen , where he worked as an organist between 1604 and 1613, possibly up to 1621. After that, he entered the service of Prince Bünau in Weesenstein .

In his compositional work Johann Groh was strongly influenced by Hans Leo Haßler , whose work he probably got to know through his teacher Rogier Michael. He created 36 intrades and 30 pavans and gaillards of five parts each, as well as other works that were published in collective works.
