Johann Heinrich Simon the Younger

Johann Heinrich Simon the Younger (* May 1696 in Hamburg ; † April 11, 1763 in Hamburg) was a lawyer and councilor in Hamburg.

Johann Heinrich Simon the Younger was the son of the Hamburg city councilor Johann Heinrich Simon the Elder. Ä. Like his father, he studied law and received his doctorate in Orléans in 1720 and then settled in Hamburg as a lawyer. On March 21, 1743 he was elected councilor.

Simon married Regina Greve (1705–1767) on March 7, 1726 and had at least three children with her:

  1. Peter Simon
  2. Johann Regina (1730–1759), married to Peter Heinrich Stampeel in 1748
  3. Heinrich Simon († 1799)
