Johann Jacob Köpler

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johann Jacob Köpler (* before 1700 ; † after 1755 ) was an organ builder in Sorau in Niederlausitz .

Life

It is not known whether Köpler was Sorbe or German. He was probably a student of Georg Adam Caspari the Younger († 1736) in Sorau (or Adam Horatio Casparini in Breslau?), Because his way of arranging shows similarities with their buildings. In 1727 at the latest, Johann Jacob Köpler was an organ builder in Sorau (today Żary).

The year of his death is unknown.
