Johann Josef Keller
Johann Josef Keller (born February 3, 1870 in Augsburg ; † May 1926 there ) is one of the founders of KUKA (today: KUKA Systems , KUKA Roboter and KUKA AG ).
Life
Johann Josef Keller was the son of Johann Nepomuk Keller (Floßmeister and Platzwirth) and Johanna Grasberger. Johann Josef Keller was buried on May 12, 1926 in the Westfriedhof in Augsburg . In 1898, Johann Josef Keller and his friend Jakob Knappich founded the Augsburg acetylene plant. The first letters of the company name “Keller und Knappich Augsburg” eventually become KUKA.
