Johann Karl Oestreicher

Johann Karl Oestreicher (born July 22, 1925 in Reichenberg ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Social Court .

Life

After studying law in Würzburg and the two state examinations in law (1950, 1953, both in Munich), Johann Karl Oestreicher initially became deputy head of the Würzburg pension office . In 1957, however, he switched to social justice and became a judge at the social court in Würzburg .

On September 1, 1975, Oestreicher was appointed judge at the Federal Social Court, where he was initially assigned to the 8th Senate, which at the time was responsible for matters relating to accident insurance law and child benefit law. From March 1976 - until his retirement - he was a judge in the 12th Senate of the Federal Social Court, which was responsible for pension insurance , unemployment insurance and insurance and contribution law.
