Johann Kehl

Johann Kehl (born March 2, 1942 in Udvari , Hungary ) is a German radio and television mechanic as well as a former politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Johann Kehl attended elementary and middle school in Döbeln , from which he graduated with a secondary school leaving certificate, and then did an apprenticeship as a radio mechanic. He then worked as a color television mechanic for PGH radio and television until 1982 . This was followed by distance learning from 1977 to 1982 at the Plauen Engineering School, which he graduated as an engineering economist. From November 1982 Kehl was chairman of the PGH and from June 1990 managing director and partner of an interior construction company.

Kehl is Protestant, not married and has two children.

Johann Kehl has been a member of the SPD since December 1989. He is a co-founder of the SPD in the Döbeln district and a member of the Leipzig district committee. In 1990 Kehl was elected deputy state chairman of the SPD Saxony . From 1992 he was a member of the Presidium and the State Executive Committee. In addition, Kehl was state chairman and member of the federal executive committee of the working group for independent companies in the SPD. He was also a member of the Döbeln city council and a member of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Döbeln.

In October 1990, Johann Kehl was elected to the Saxon state parliament on the state list of the SPD Saxony, to which he belonged for two terms. He was in the 1st electoral term in the Committee on Economy and Labor and in the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Forests and in the 2nd electoral term in the Committee on Economy, Labor and Technology and the Committee on Europe.

In May 1999, Johann Kehl resigned his functions in the parliamentary group after he was only placed 31st on the state list for the state elections.

In 2001 he resigned from the party in protest against the policies of the SPD, but retained his mandates in the town council of Döbeln
