Johann Cuba

Johann Kuba (born April 11, 1900 in Frättingsdorf , † April 18, 1948 in Schwarzach / St. Veit ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). From 1945 to 1948 Cuba was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Cuba attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith after compulsory school. Cuba entered the service of the Austrian Federal Railways and did his military service from 1918 to 1919. As a result, he worked in various professions. Because of his political activities he was arrested in 1934, 1935, 1938 and 1943. After the end of the Second World War, Cuba was elected district party chairman in 1945 and was also head of the Chamber of Labor. He represented the SPÖ from December 12, 1945 to April 18, 1948 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
