Johann Leicker

Johann Walter Leicker (born December 11, 1772 in Wehrheim ; †  August 2, 1844 there ) was a Nassau politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Duchy of Nassau .

Johann Leicker was the son of the school name Georg Philipp Leicker (* around 1730 - † October 30, 1809 in Wehrheim) and his wife Anna Margarethe, née Schmidt (* around 1736 - October 31, 1804 in Wehrheim). Johann Leicker married Catharina born Allendörfer on May 31, 1792 in Wehrheim (born January 27, 1770 in Wehrheim, † February 10, 1844 in Wehrheim), the daughter of the stocking manufacturer Johann Philipp Allendörfer and his wife Anna Maria born Wagner († February 10 1844 in Wehrheim). Johann Leicker was Protestant.

Johann Leicker was a landowner in Wehrheim. In 1822 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for the Weilburg landowners group. It was a by-election for Jacob Borkholder , who had resigned from his seat. Johann Leicker was a member of the state parliament until 1832.
