Johann Michael Füssel
Johann Michael Füssel (born November 26, 1753 in Thiersheim ; died November 16, 1824 in Gefrees ) was a Protestant pastor, court master and author of a well-known travelogue.
Life
Füssel was born in Thiersheim; after school he studied from 1773 to 1776 at the theological faculty of the University of Erlangen . After completing his studies, he first worked as court master with privy councilor Künsberg in Bayreuth , from 1780 first with the von Falkenhausen family and then with court marshal Eichler von Auritz in Ansbach . On December 31, 1785, Füssel became pastor in Gefrees , where he worked for 39 years until his death.
