Johann Nepomuk Streibl (born March 25, 1830 in Dorfen , † April 7, 1914 in Ulm ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Streibl was a son of the brewery owner Johann Nepomuk Streibl in Dorfen and his wife Theres, nee. Geibel. In 1871 he married Franziska Absmeyer.

Life

Johann Nepomuk Streibl studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , where he became a member of the Corps Franconia in 1849 . After the university examination he was employed as a legal intern in Erding, after the state examination first in Erding, then as a functionary in Mühldorf. In February 1864 he was assigned to the district office in Pfarrkirchen and in 1865 to Altötting in the same position . On March 6, 1879, he was appointed district administrator in Königshofen im Grabfeld . In 1884 he became district administrator in Landsberg am Lech . In 1894 he received the rank and title of a Royal Bavarian Government Councilor and was knight IV class of the Order of Merit of St. Michael . After retiring from civil service in 1900, he initially moved to Munich. In 1906 he settled in Ulm, where a son worked as a lawyer.
