Johann Pfeiffer (doctor)
Johann Pfeiffer (also Johannes Pfeiffer , born January 26, 1639 in Gera ; † June 12, 1684 ibid) was a German physician and personal physician at the Reussian court in Gera.
Life
Johann Pfeiffer was in Gera with Johann Sebastian Mitternacht a student at the humanistic high school Rutheneum and then studied medicine at the University of Leipzig . He later became a doctor in Gera and worked as a court doctor and personal physician at the Reussian court .
On January 13, 1680, Johann Pfeiffer , nicknamed Musa, was accepted as a member ( matriculation no. 89 ) in the Leopoldina .
