Johann Philipp Allfeld

Johann Philipp Allfeld (born December 16, 1819 in Munich ; † June 26, 1890 ) was a German stenographer.

Allfeld graduated from the Alte Gymnasium (today Wilhelmsgymnasium Munich ) in Munich in 1841 as a Primus. He then studied law and was last active as a higher regional judge from 1879 in Munich. In 1846 he learned at Franz Xaver Gabelsberger the shorthand . After his death in 1849 he co-founded the Gabelsberger Stenographen-Centralverein .
