Johann Wilhelm Bredenkamp (born July 28, 1798 in Bremen , † July 27, 1859 in Interlaken ) was a German lawyer and Senator from Bremen

biography

Bredenkamp was the son of the businessman and elderly Conrad Justus Bredenkamp (1747-1824) and his wife Margarethe Henriette (1772-1852).
He was married to the senator's daughter Henriette Abegg (1803–1881); both had five children.

From 1820 he studied law at the University of Göttingen . In Göttingen he received his doctorate in 1823. jur.
He then worked as a lawyer and specialist in Bremen.
From 1845 to 1859 (†) he was the successor to Diederich Meier Bremen Senator.

The street Am Bredenkamp in Bremen-Mitte was named after him in 1869.
