Johann Wilhelm Faber
Johann Wilhelm Faber (* 1708 in the Electoral Palatinate ; † January 16, 1780 in Wiesbaden ) was a German architect .
Faber was a pupil of Friedrich Joachim Stengel , whose buildings he completed many times. His main focus was from around 1750 to at least 1768 in Nassau-Usingen . He was the court architect in Biebrich .
His works include:
- the Prinzenpalais (later district house) in Usingen
- front wing of Usingen Castle and blueprints for the orangery in Usingen
- 1751-1770 he worked at Biebrich Castle and in Braunfels
- In 1750 he made the plan for the Schierstein church
- 1763–1768 architect of the castle in Birstein .
