Johanna Priglinger

Johanna Priglinger (born October 19, 1986 in Linz ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 2013 to 2015 she was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament .

education and profession

Priglinger attended elementary school 37 in Linz between September 1993 and July 1997 before switching to the Episcopal Gymnasium Petrinum in September 1997. She attended grammar school until July 2001 and then continued her education from September 2001 at HBLA Lentia. She graduated from the Product Management and Presentation Department and passed her Matura in June 2006. She then studied law from 2006 with a focus on corporate law and graduated in 2012 with the academic degree Mag. Jur. from. In addition to her studies, Priglinger also worked as a study assistant at the Institute for Law of General Social Services and Medical Law / Labor and Social Law at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. She also completed an internship at the LEAD law firm in Copenhagen in May 2012 and her court internship at the Linz District and Regional Court between June and October. From November 2012 to December 2013 she was employed as a project manager in the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce .

Politics and functions

Priglinger completed political training with the Young People's Party and has been a functionary in the JVP Linz-Stadt since 2005. She is district chairman of the JVP Linz-Stadt and a member of two Linz local groups. In addition, she is active as president of the Club Juvenilia International Linz, parish assistant and was a volunteer paramedic at the Red Cross Linz-Stadt from 2005 to 2011. After Bernhard Baier left , Priglinger was sworn in as a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament on November 17, 2013. There she was a member of the rules of procedure committee, the petitions and legal rectification committee and the culture committee. As her political focus, Priglinger cites the work for young people, especially in the areas of education, family, social and economic policy, the representation of the interests of the urban population and the strengthening of Upper Austria as a business location. After the end of the legislative period in 2015, Priglinger no longer stood for a mandate because she wanted to “focus on new professional perspectives”.
