Johannes Adam Stör

Johannes Adam Stör (also Johann Adam Stöer , * around 1623 in Würzburg ; † April 23, 1675 ibid) was a German physician and professor of medicine in Würzburg .

Life

Johannes Adam Stör studied medicine at the University of Würzburg from November 13, 1641 . In 1648 he received his doctorate in Würzburg under Wolfgang Upilio . In 1660 Stör was appointed Professor theoricae . According to his own information in the calendar sheets, he later worked as Professor Ordinarius Practicus at the University of Würzburg. In 1664 Johann Georg Reiss, in 1666 Heinrich Wilhelm Weinkamer and in 1672 Michael Werlein and Franciscus Schlee received his doctorate.

On December 30, 1655, Johannes Adam Stör was registered under registration no. 16 as a member of the Academia Naturae Curiosorum , today's German Academy of Natural Scientists Leopoldina .

On February 18, 1669, he married Maria Sabina Wassermann , daughter of the medical professor Georg Wassermann.
