Johannes Bissels

Johannes Bissels (born April 26, 1898 in Hüls ; † April 23, 1977 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school , he studied at the Ilmenau technical center and in Bingen and worked as an engineer until 1926. From 1933 Bissels was an independent businessman. After 1945 he was a member of the CDU.

MP

From July 21, 1958 to July 23, 1966, Bissels was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in the constituency 035 Kempen-Ost.

He was a member of the city council of Siegburg from 1928 to 1930 and that of Bonn from 1932 to 1933. After the war he was a member of the council of the municipality of Hüls and mayor in 1951 and 1952 . Bissels was a member of the district council of the Kempen-Krefeld district from 1946 to 1959.
